You Hold Her Voice

In this work, I explored grief through objects. understanding the power of an object and the emotions held within them. starting from a poem and exploring language use in my practice. Through this work, I explored my personal grief of my family’s fax machine and its emotional power over not only me but my family. Holding the last recording of my mother’s voice, it sits there waiting until we want to hear it again.
